Move Mountains for Melissa

My niece, Melissa Grindley Gift, went into the emergency room for a routine kidney stone a month ago.  The resulting surgery revealed kidney cancer which required immediate removal of her kidney.   Complications during surgery led to a sepsis infection, a medically induced coma and two subsequent surgeries.  My sister, Jeri Lyn Grindley, (Melissa's mom) drove 500 miles to be with her and understandably, has barely left her side and, as such, is not currently working.   Jim Gift, Melissa’s husband is a first year law student and not allowed to work  during this first year, so Melissa was working to support Jim through his law school endeavors and wants him to succeed.   Jim has been going back and forth between the hospital and the classroom each day.   These sudden unexpected medical expenses are extreme, as is the battle Melissa is facing.  Please help support Melissa and her family.
