My name is Caroline, and horses have always been essential to my life, from growing up in Ireland to moving to California in 1993.
In 2016, I founded Equitopia Center, an online education platform that provides high-quality, evidence and research-based resources. It also provides support and community to help horse lovers become better-informed equestrians.
During the course of building my business, I rescued 12 abandoned and abused horses. Unfortunately, the cost of feeding, care, vet bills, and other expenses runs between $6,000-$8,000 per month. Until Equitopia recovers sufficiently from the pandemic and the economy, I am pleading for immediate financial assistance so that I don’t lose my beloved horses or my vision and mission for Equitopia.
I have exhausted my resources, savings, and investments to keep Equitopia going and care for these horses, and I now find myself in a difficult position financially.
It has been a tough decision for me to ask for help, but this is the reality of where I am. The horses in my care and the Equitopia mission keep me going, and I want to find a way to continue, but I do need help.
I very much appreciate anything you can contribute to the critical need of the rescues as well as continuing the mission of Equitopia so horse lovers everywhere can become better-informed equestrians.
