Cortnay's second chance at life
Donation protected
On Saturday, November 24th, Cortnay Ray, wife and mother of 3, was rushed to Hackley Hospital in Muskegon, MI after complaining of a severe headache and inability to use her left side. Upon examination of doctors, they found a bleed in her brain with chance of survival being very grim. They immediately rushed her into emergency brain surgery to stop the bleed and found an aneurysm on her right side of her brain that had ruptured. At that point the surgeon stopped the bleed, but was unable to address the aneurysm so they rushed her to Spectrum Meijer Heart Center in Grand Rapids, MI to undergo another surgery to clip the aneurysm in her brain. On Sunday morning, November 25th, they successfully removed the aneurysm and she was brought to the ICU in the hospital where she is currently, 2 weeks later. Progress is slow, but we're hopeful for a full recovery. It's going to be many months of rehabilitation and physical therapy to help her. Any financial support would be considered a blessing for us to get this wife and mother of 3 back to her family. Donations would be used for food, medical bills, gas for 45 minute commute, and lodging. If you cannot donate, we appreciate all thoughts and prayers and wish you would consider sharing this to friends and family.
