SHAVE FOR MAEVE
Donation protected
My name is Anne..I am appealing for sponsorship to shave my hair to raise funds for a special little girl who is called Maeve (Maeve was a very powerful Warrior Queen in Irish legend!)
This is Maeve. Maeve is a very bright, smart, funny, cheeky, pretty and feisty four and a half year old.
She loves stories, animals (horses and cats are high on her list), playing with her big sister Aoife and and engaging with her friends and the wonderful staff at Kindy Joes.
She likes pink and is quite sassy in her clothing choices and hair styles.
Maeve has cerebral palsy and her life to now has been punctuated by operations, treatments and physical pain. She recently underwent Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy SDR surgery at Great Ormond Street. We hope and pray for positive outcomes. This can only happen with extensive therapy.
All money raised will be used to fund treatment at Swim Lab Lanzarote and Freddie Farmers Foundation. They are both centres of excellence.
Maeve, her sister and her parents are my near neighbours and much loved and valued friends who supported me through Covid and some health challenges.
I am in awe of their resilience and family values.
I am appealing for friends to sponsor me to shave my hair and add some pink at our Afternoon Tea Fundraising Event at St Joseph's Church Hall on Saturday 21st June, 2pm to 4.30pm. Live music, tea, food and much more!
We hope to livestream the shave on FB at 2.30pm
A few pounds, dollars, euros would be amazing.
Thank you.
