MICHAEL PARDIEU - MEDICAL FUND
Donation protected
One week ago, Friday, my husband Michael went in for a health checkup due to a few symptoms he was having: forgetfulness, a little numbing on one side of his face, numbness in his leg, and a bit of clumsiness. The symptoms had come and gone over several months, and I insisted he get a checkup. He has gone for years without being ill, so we assumed it couldn't be too serious. As far as we knew, he was healthy. After he left the doctor's office, they called and told him to immediately go to the emergency room.
Since that day on February 26th, we knew our lives had changed. Michael was diagnosed with a large mass on the top of his brain called a Meningioma. Its size is unusually large, and not all neurosurgeons are willing to operate. The risks to this surgery could be a stroke, or even death. We have been staying at the hospital, as he has had to undergo many, many tests so that the surgeon can have all information required for a successful operation.
Tomorrow, Friday March 4th, he will under go surgery to remove the entire mass. He will be hospitalized for days or weeks, depending on how well his body responds to the surgery.
Michael is the touchstone of his family, especially for me, as I am disabled and require much assistance. He is a wonderful sibling of 8 children, uncle, brother, husband, friend, father, and grandfather.
Any donation that you can make to assist us in paying bills during this tough time would be greatly appreciated.
Please join us in our prayers for Michael to have a complete recovery from this illness.
Thank you,
