Hi!

My name is Aleaha and I am a proud parent of two beautiful kids. I gave birth to my second child Oct 17,2024. She is one bright, beautiful butterfly, Chloe Noelle. Chloe was diagnosed with Larynomalacia at 2 months old. We were referred to an ENT from there. Chloe has spent her first 10 months of life in and out of children’s hospital. From 2 am emergency room visits to overnight stays. With this condition, she would catch colds easier than some, which would affect her breathing. Chloe’s original ENT doctors referred her to another ENT doctor because he was at the point of her condition being more then he could do under his scope of practice. Now we’re onto specialist number 2 . We went to her ENT doctor and she wants Chloe to do a swallow study. We do the swallow study, we get the results, and she’s aspirating because of her condition. So now we’re under specialist number 3. We have to do 2 speech appointments each month for her to work on swallowing. We’re still seeing her ENT, but it’s now to the point we have to go and see pulmonary specialist number 4. We went to this specialist and Chloe now has to do breathing treatments and use a nebulizer. Medications and equipment are getting expensive. I’m a single mom paying for all that insurance does not cover, out of pocket. Chloe, at one point was on 5 different steroids for breathing.

Steriods were working great until these last two weeks. I was in Children’s hospital 5x in one week between appointments and 2 am ER visits. Chloe had a sleep study done and it came back that she also has sleep apnea and stops breathing when she’s sleep. Now they are prescribing Chloe an O2 tank and the out of pocket cost is more than I expected. Chloe is scheduled for surgery Sep 12 .

Through it all, I’ve been fortunate enough to make a way for my baby to get everything she needs, but it’s starting to become too big of a challenge. Chloe has been through so much. From the needles , scopes down her nose , pumped up on steroids, and many more things. Doctors have done an amazing job with keeping her out of the operating room and now I have exhausted all of my options. Most importantly my baby smiles through it all. And she’s has given me so much peace with how strong she’s been.

Anything towards these out of pocket costs will help greatly .
