My sister Kelly is one of the most positive, uplifting souls I know. She has the kindest heart and deeply cares for her family and friends. In March 2022, Kelly felt a lump on her breast which unfortunately, after several biopsies, doctors diagnosed her invasive carcinoma. With no prior family history of breast cancer and being so young Kelly, her family and the doctors were baffled at the news. We are all still in shock, yet to fully digest the gut wrenching diagnosis of breast cancer for Kelly at the age of 29. I know Kelly has so many loved ones that want to support her. With everything going on, Kelly is under a lot of pressure. As she prepares herself mentally, physically, emotionally and financially for a very aggressive treatment plan. This will be a long road, and she will have a significant loss of income as she is out of work for the next several months to attend appointments, receive treatments, and allow her body to recover. While a portion of the medical costs are covered by insurance there are many expenses that are not. One being fertility preservation along with the numerous out of pocket medical expenses. Kelly would never ask for help, but I have taken it upon myself to ask you to help her. I want Kelly to be able to focus 100% of her time on her health and beating cancer. I don’t want her to worry about the financial burden that she is about to face. I know Kelly will be forever grateful for your support. No gift is too small. Every one of your gestures shows Kelly that she has all of your support, which gives her strength.
