Help a Homeless Teen Get on Her Feet

Hi, my name is Hailey, and I'm 18 years old, currently finishing my last year of high school. Despite everything that has happened, I’ve worked hard to maintain my grades and stay focused on my education. I’m so close to graduating, but my situation has made life incredibly difficult. I am reaching out today because I need help, and I'm hoping that you’ll consider giving me a chance to rebuild my life.

Five months ago, my life was turned upside down when my mother was arrested for domestic violence. She physically assaulted me, leaving marks on my body, and I was taken to the police station. As a result, she was arrested, and I was left homeless. I chose not to live with my abusive stepdad and didn't want to enter foster care, so I’ve been staying with friends. But living this way is not sustainable, and it’s been a daily struggle.

I have nothing to my name except my cat, Mochi, who has been my only companion through this tough time. I've been doing everything I can to survive. I’ve been looking for a job, but without reliable transportation, it’s been nearly impossible to find work. The money I raise will go towards purchasing a used car, which will allow me to get a job and start working as soon as I finish school in May. Once I can earn an income, I’ll be able to move into my own apartment and start to rebuild my life.

I’m asking for your help today because I don’t want to give up. With just $5,000, I can buy a car, gain the independence I need, and begin working to support myself. It’s not much, but it’s the first step toward having a future where I can be safe, self-sufficient, and independent.

I’ve worked hard to stay in school, and I’m determined to graduate. I just need a little help to get through this final stretch and get back on my feet. Anything you can contribute will make a huge difference in my life, and I would be forever grateful. Please, if you can, take a chance on me.
