Save Dickinson Pool for Future Generations

The Dickinson Civic Association Pool, located at 3000 Spruce Dr in Dickinson, Texas, has been an important part of the community for many years. In the past, the pool has been used for private parties, making longlasting memories of swimming in the pool with friends and families and of course our exciting summer swim meets!This past spring, the Dickinson Gator Swim Club took over caretakership of the pool from everyone's favorite guy, Mr. Bill. We have worked very hard to keep the pool maintained for use by the Dickinson High School Swim Team, private parties and our swim club.

With that being said, our pool is aging and in dire need of some serious repairs and maintenance. Some immediate needs are: 4 new pumps, replaced piping, a new roof for our bathroom/concession stand area, and an upgrade to our pool house. Our goal is to keep the pool running for many years to come. Over the past summer we've heard the voices from the community of Dickinson in regards to swim memberships not being available for the 2024 summer. While this was a hard decision, we had to ensure all proper insurance and other aspects were in place. Our hope is that we are able to open the pool up for memberships starting in the Spring of 2025! However, the membership opportunity will only be available if we are able to make the much-needed repairs to the pool and its equipment .

All monies raised will go towards these repairs and the day-to-day maintenance of the pool. We want to ensure the pool is safe for an enjoyable experience for not only our Dickinson High School Swim Team, the summer Dickinson Gator Swim Club, but also the amazing residents of Dickinson.
