Jesse's road to recovery from cancer
Donation protected
We are raising money to help Jesse who is struggling to make ends meet while trying to heal from colon cancer. He has been unable to work due to his health and physical pain and is struggling to get by with surmounting bills and expenses. His home is in desperate need of some repairs that he doesn’t have the means to fix. We are hopeful and deeply grateful for any support that can be offered; all donations not matter the size are immensely appreciated and a huge help.
Jesse has been going through a very difficult time since getting sick and being diagnosed with colon cancer. He was really sick for a long time, suffering every day with excruciating pain and unable to eat due to the pain while working long hours of grueling work as a full-time auto mechanic. Without health insurance it was incredibly difficult for Jesse to get a colonoscopy and testing done to see what was causing him so much pain. After a lot of difficulty and help from his sister Crystal he was finally able to get a colonoscopy which resulted in a devastating cancer diagnosis. He is a very private person who doesn’t want people to worry about him so he kept the details of his diagnosis to himself and carried the burden alone. Jesse has a huge heart and doesn’t want anyone to worry about him especially his family. Jesse would help anyone in a heartbeat but has a hard time asking for help so we are asking on his behalf. He has been so strong for a long time and we want to give him the support and help he so deeply deserves. He has been through a lot of hardships in his life but despite it all he continues to be incredibly thoughtful and compassionate and loves to make people laugh with his sharp wit and brilliant sense of humour.
Jesse loves cars and is an incredibly talented mechanic who loves getting his hands dirty. He has a passion for older cars and loves bringing them back to life. His dream is to work for himself one day; fixing up cars that need some work and making them solid and reliable for people to drive. He’s also a wildly talented artist who has been drawing since childhood.
Our family was recently devastated by the unbearable loss of our beautiful Rose, Jesse's youngest sister, who was also heroically fighting a battle with colon cancer. We hope this support will provide some much needed hope and encouragement and relief for Jesse so he can focus on taking care of himself and getting well. We hope it shows him he doesn't have to go through this alone. We believe in the healing power of being supported and cared for, especially when you have difficulty asking for help.
Your donations will be used to help pay for Jesse’s medical expenses, repairs to his roof and porch, help with mortgage payments, utilities, food and basic needs.
Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. We are deeply grateful for any offerings of support for Jesse. It truly means the world to all of us.
