A few months ago, the car I drove for over a decade kicked the bucket, so I got the cheapest decent car i could find on facebook marketplace. On my way to get it registered, I hydroplaned into stopped traffic and totaled it pretty good. Several thousand dollars down the drain less than 30 days after buying the vehicle.

I live an hour away from my work in an unwalkable city with limited access to public transportation. I have to have a car to get to work and back.
