Dixie Fire Recovery: Kimberly and Oak Grove Lodge
Kimberly needs our help. Her love, light and creativity shines on all those around her. Her Oak Grove Motor Lodge, which she lovingly owned in Greenville, CA, has been a home away from home for so many people over the years. It’s all gone. Kimberly put all of her time and energy in to making Oak Grove Motor Lodge a safe and comfortable space for each of her guests, including the same brave firefighters fighting past fires that tried so very hard to save her property this time, and just couldn’t do it. The Dixie fire has consumed the lodge and all of her belongings.
Interior design is her life long passion and the Lodge her only source of income. Kimberly loves to create beautiful spaces, gorgeous costumes and loving friendships. She lost all of her design portfolios and costumes and is at a loss for how she will find work moving forward. She’s resilient and will find her way, with our love and support.
Thank you so much for any support you’re comfortable to give to help Kimberly rebuild her life and help her rebuild her community. $20,000 won’t bring back the lodge but it will help as a significant step toward rebuilding her home, her career and her future. We’re truly devastated for the town of Greenville, the surrounding community and the victims of the fire. I’m her niece Christine from Southern California. Endless gratitude for those able to support.
