I'm fundraising for my son Harrison. Due to complications of pregnancy I had to be induced 4 weeks early. He was completely fine and then within 6 hours he started showing some worrisome signs. We brought him to children's hospital. Within 2 minutes the trauma team was working with him it was a whirlwind of test and procedures. It came back as meningitis with gbs (group b strep) complications. It's extremely rare to have late onset gbs symptoms after 10 days so his condition deteriorated very quickly. He is currently on a ventilator to assist him with his breathing to let his body rest. There has been lots of tests run we are aware at this point that he does have some brain damage. The extent of any damage is still unknown. We don't know what the long term outcome will be that all depends on how well he recovers. He will be disabled and will not function like a normal child. With that being said in the future we will need medical supplies and equipment. Currently I am not working and family is trying to help as much as possible with food and drinks as well as personal items. We are requesting help with anything you can donate to go towards food and future use.

UPDATE: His condition has continued to get worse and worse. Monday I am planning on having them take his breathing tube out and letting him pass naturally. I dont want him to have to suffer through this. I also don't want this to be the rest of his life.

He has basically no brain function left. So we are now collecting money for funeral and cremation expenses. He will donate what can be donated.
