From David and Robin

We want to thank our family and dear friends for everything that was done that enable us to stay with Ben for so long. He was never left alone, he knew how much he was loved, we could never express what that time with him means to us now
Ben found something in everyone of you that made him smile and be happy when talking about each of you, and he done so often. We thank you for loving him and making him feel loved, you truly made his life better!
                                        Love David and Robin

Thank you so much to all who have helped! You will never know the impact you have made! Please pray for this family, a liver became available last night and they attempted the transplant this morning.  Ben did not make it thru surgery and has gone to be with Jesus.  The last 5 weeks have taken a toll on David and Robin! Love to all!

Ben Flannery is my 27 year old nephew, at age 17 he was diagnosed with liver disease. He is now in end stage liver failure. He has been at University of Cincinnati Health in ICU for 5 weeks waiting on a liver transplant.  His condition is very critical, he is on continuous dialysis,  has been intubated for days now and is having very serious lung and heart problems. His parents David and Robin Flannery haven't left his side and neither have been able to work. It is imperative that they stay close to the hospital to make decisions while waiting on transplant. They have filed the Family Medical Leave Act and are able to miss work to be with him. David is not getting paid and expenses are adding up.  Not only do they have expenses at home, but have the expense of staying away from home, eating out, etc.  Friends and family have been trying helping with hotel expenses so they can stay in the ICU in shifts around the clock and be close to the hospital,  and have someplace to shower, but it has been so long.  We have had people asking what they need so we decided to start this fund to help. Doctors have said that when he has transplant he will need at least 6 weeks of around the clock care.  If you are able to help it would be greatly appreciated.  Your prayers are also appreciated at this time!  And every penny will go to helping this precious family!
