Hunter is the four-year-old son of Layshena. He has 3 brothers. Hunter was born with Hirschsprung's disease and spent the first 1.5 years of his life with a colostomy bag. Despite this, Hunter would light up a room with his smile.

Hunter is now 4 years old and is facing a new struggle. On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, Hunter was diagnosed with B-cell lymphoblastic leukemia, which is an aggressive form of bone marrow and blood cancer, which is in his bones, eyes, and the dura mater of the brain. He’s currently at Children's Hospital in Michigan. Hunter is facing a long road. While insurance will hopefully cover its share, we know that the inevitable out-of-pocket expenses will be more than his mom will be able to handle.
