Karen Olszewski-Polisky

Friends and Family,

As some of you know, Karen Olszewski Polisky was diagnosed in February with Cholangiocarcinoma cancer (bile duct/liver cancer). This cancer is not operatable and is uncurable cancer.

Karen started chemo in April, which was not successful. She then started a trial drug in June with Dana Farber in Boston, MA. There are numerous trips to Boston for tests (EKG, Bloodwork, cat scans, eye exams and provider visits). Karen also is seeing some of her doctors here in CT. Her costs are adding up with high deductibles, coinsurance, copays, and travel expenses.

We are starting this go-fund-me page to offset some of the costs that will come with regular trips to Boston and her medical expenses in CT.

Any donations raised during this fundraiser will go to Karen’s medical expenses.
