My daughter Lauren Deirdre Oman was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 weeks ago. We found out yesterday that she would need to be out of work for at least 4 1/2 months.
She will not be able to pay her share of the mortgage or utility bills for that period of time and possibly longer. She will need help with her medical bills, travel expenses to and from appointments, etc.
As her mother, I will definitely help as much as I can but being retired, I am on a fixed income. Her Chemo treatments start on July 14th. After 18 weeks of Chemo and Antibodies, she will need another surgery and also need 34 more weeks of Antibody IV infusions,. We will not know the extent of that surgery until after Chemo treatments.
She will not like that I am asking on her behalf but my heart is broken that I can't do it for her.
