Hospice Care / John Nason Tracy, NB
Donation protected
John Nason is a 38 year old man from Tracy, New Brunswick. As a young child, he was diagnosed with Leukemia, and our family watched him go through chemo and all the horrible cancer treatment, losing his hair as a kid, a wig, extended stays in the hospital. John pulled through and went into remission, however his body would not be the same. His heart and lungs would suffer lifelong damage due to his illness/treatment. For the past several years, John has been ill. Admitted yearly due to pneumonia for weeks. John’s middle brother Andrew passed away a few years ago. This year, John was admitted in March and sadly went downhill. Doctors in Fredericton and Halifax tried, but ultimately decided that his body was not strong enough to endure a transplant, which was his needed procedure at this point. John was allowed to go home a few weeks ago, for what would end end being “home hospice”. Miraculously, just a week ago, John was able to live a lifelong dream by going on a moosehunt with his father, where his father got the first moose of his life. Sadly, just one week later, John has been admitted to Hospice House. His father Brian has been admitted to the hospital with cellulitis a few days ago. My Aunt Barb is also struggling physically. She lives in Tracy, mist rely on someone to bring her home, and to Fredericton to take care of her son and husband. This family needs a helping hand, and I’m humbly asking for it.
