I am Annabella Torres, mother to 3 kids. I would like to appeal to your kind hearts if you can please help me raise the funds needed for my son, Mark Lester Torres, who has recently been diagnosed with Chronic  Kidney Disease.

Last March 23, 2018, he was admitted to Makati Medical Center due to vomiting. But his symptoms had started 6 months prior when he first felt lost appetite and body weakness. During his hospital stay and after numerous tests, it was found out that he has acute kidney injury . Since then he has been undergoing hemodialysis every week.

The doctor has advised us that the only solution for Mark's illness is a kidney transplant and he needs it ASAP. His continued dialysis may cause complications later on and currently, the doctors are even seeing that his heart is enlarging. The doctors have quoted that the cost of a kidney transplant in the Philippines is 2 Million pesos.

Mark is only 24 years old and still has his whole life ahead of him. As a mother, I could not bear to see my son to undergo this procedure regularly knowing that while it is helping his kidney, it is affecting his other organs. It is painful and also expensive.

Please help me raise the 2 Million pesos (approximately $40,000) so my son can undergo the kidney transplant as soon as possible. We are average and middle-income family and unfortunately do not have the means to raise the amount we need on our own so I am knocking on your hearts if you can please send us some help, any amount will surely be a great help!
