My son, Alexandru Emanuel Vines, born on August 15, 2005, is a young man whose dreams were stopped by an aggressive cancer discovered in October 2024.

The first three therapies performed at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London did not work for him.

There is an experimental treatment available for Alex. With a cost of approximately 1500 pounds per cycle for a 20-day therapy, depending on the evolution, it will be seen how many cycles will be needed.

Our family is exhausted by the effort of this merciless situation, spending all our savings to be with Alex.

# Alex's Story

Alex's health journey began in October of last year when he started experiencing severe chest pain. Initially, doctors attributed this to muscle strain from his gym workouts. However, one month later, his condition worsened significantly - he felt extremely tired, developed a persistent cough, and struggled to eat, prompting a visit to the emergency department.

It was during this visit that Alex received a life-changing diagnosis: T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma with a mediastinal mass. His case has proven particularly challenging, as his cancer is refractory - meaning it hasn't responded to standard treatments. He is currently undergoing his third therapy at The Royal Marsden Hospital in London, UK, after the first two treatment approaches were unsuccessful. Even his medical team finds his case unusually complex and unclear.

Alex's challenges extend beyond his current health battle. At just 9 years old, he experienced the devastating loss of his father in a car accident on a German motorway in 2015, adding another layer of hardship to his young life.

Our family and loved ones are reaching out for support during this difficult time. We believe deeply in the power of prayer and faith, asking anyone who feels called to join them in praying for Alex's healing and recovery. Beyond spiritual support, we are also seeking financial assistance through donations to help cover the mounting medical expenses and costs associated with his ongoing treatment at The Royal Marsden Hospital.
