We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your help on behalf of Alem Tegegn Yimam from Ethiopia, is currently battling end-stage kidney failure. Alem was recently diagnosed after months of worsening health, including fatigue, swelling, and severe pain. This diagnosis has changed her life completely, and she now requires surgery and treatments to stay alive. Alem is a devoted mother, kind friend, and a warm-hearted individual who has always put others before herself. Anyone who knows her can speak to her strength, humility, and unwavering spirit—even in the face of such a devastating illness. As Alem fights this critical health battle, the financial burden has become overwhelming. Due to her condition, Alem is unable to work, and the cost of the operation, medications, transportation to medical facilities continues to rise. Alem and her son are struggling to make ends meet. That's why we are starting this GoFundMe to support Alem’s journey toward recovery.
