Hey I’m Alex (he/they), thank you for reading! I am a transgender person getting gender affirming chest surgery in March. This fundraiser is to help cover some surgery cost and my post-op living expenses. I’m am getting this surgery to help me feel more aligned in my body and have been working towards this since 2006. I am a massage therapist and outdoor guide in Asheville, NC. I do not have PTO and will be unable to work for 6 weeks while I am recovering.
