Hello everyone, I’m Chloe Ornelas. My father, Matthew Western (38), passed away unexpectedly earlier this week. Our family moved to Los Lunas, NM about seven years ago. We originally moved here to assist my grandmother, who had a life-altering stroke she passed in early 2020.
There is no way of preparing a family for such an event, especially ours. He was a great dad who would end every conversation about his family or ANY movie. Sadly, as many know, life continues even after such an impactful death, the financial concerns are beginning to surface.
My father gave my mom, Amanda Ornelas, the privilege of being a stay-at-home mom for the last eight years to take care of my younger siblings Cooper (7) and Charlie (5). As an away full-time college student, I worry for my mother, who is left with these two beautiful and incredibly smart kids. With no longer having family locally in Los Lunas, I hope you can find somewhere in your heart to support my family during this time.
