As by now, most of you have heart about the untimely passing of my father Jose Herrera. We would like to thank everyone of you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your love, prayers, and incredible support we have received these past most painful days of our lives from all of our family members, friends, neighbors, coworkers and all of the people that got to meet and deeply knew him.

 

This past Monday 13th at 9:43PM we lost one the most amazing and loving dad and husband to a wife and 3 daughters we could’ve ever asked for. Anyone who knew Jose Herrera, knew how his energy lit up every room he walked into, whether it was in a room full of family members and friends or a room with completely strangers.

 

For several years, our father dealt with a number of chronic illness including; congestive heart failure, cirrhosis, type 2 diabetes , and edema. As his family, we did every single thing that was in our power to help him ease his pain and suffering, but God already had a different plan for him. My family is still in shock and haven’t fully processed the fact that we are never going to see my father again. Although, we all know that we are all going to depart from this world one day, I don’t think that we were ever ready and will never be ready to see a loving one go. None of this seems real, but we are truly holding up to God’s promise of reuniting all of us once again in a world with no pain or suffering, just happiness and love.

 

We have set up this account to help pay for the funeral expenses that were unexpectedly encountered for our family. No family is ever prepared for this type of situations and we will truly appreciate all of your prayers and thoughts for our family. If you feel in your heart to donate, it will greatly be received with appreciation and love.

Como cada año mi padre vino de vacaciones con la familia, y de un día para otro se sintió mal, estuvo en el hospital y al día siguiente que salió le dio un derrame cerebral, nos daban la esperanza de que iba a sobrevivir pero no fue así. No estábamos preparados para una situación asi, es por eso que ahora estamos pidiendo de su ayuda para poder darle un funeral digno y que sea enterrado con su familia y pueda descansar en paz. Con la mano en el corazón te agradezco tu ayuda.
