Hi everyone! This is Juan's wife Emily. For those of you that don't know, Juan was admitted to the hospital on December 29, 2024 with altered mental status related to the flu. He spent 14 days in the ICU and was just discharged from the hospital to rehabilitation this weekend. We are so very blessed that Juan pulled through such illness and is making progress regaining his independence every day. Juan has a long road ahead with physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy that will require a lot of continued support. Due to this unexpected illness, we have fallen on some financial hardship and could use some help if you are able to help pay for medical bills, medical equipment, and continuous living expenses.
