My name is Gary. My sister Christine recently had a double transplant in Toronto. A kidney and a pancreas. These were required due to her juevenile diabetes she has had since she was 10 years old.
The surgery was a success but she recently had to return to TGH as her sugar was sky high due to the anti-rejection medications she must now take.
As she is self-employed she has no money coming in and she has almost depleted the funds she could set aside to cover her rent and food. Her insurance has a high deductible and has not been of much help.
I am setting up this fund in the hopes that people can help her cover her living expenses until she can get back to work. Our family would deeply appreciate any assistance the could be provided in her time of need. Christine is a very good soul who just needs some help during her recovery. Our mother has been trying to help out but she is on a pension and has limited funds available as have the rest of the family.
Any donation to this fund would go a long way in helping relieve her stress during this time.
