Get Steve "Back"

Steven Jenks is a teacher and coach at Monticello High School, a loyal friend, and a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and brother.  He has 4 children and 7 grandchildren, with #8 due in May.

In January, Steve had routine back surgery to alleviate his chronic pain and discomfort.  Unfortunately, Steve has been unable to return to his family and friends because of complications from the surgery.     He was in the ICU at Good Samaritan's Hospital for three weeks, where he  recieved around the clock care.  During this time, Steve was unable to get out of bed or walk without the help of nurses, a back brace, and a walker.

Steve is now at Helen Hayes Hospital and will remain there for several more weeks.  He is undergoing extensive rehabilitation to regain his strength and mobility. 

The goal of this campaign is to help Steve and his family pay for mounting medical costs and travel expenses.  Steve is a resident of Port Jervis and his wife, Roseanne, has been traveling to and from the hospital to be with him.  It is our hope that funds raised will help relieve the additional stress caused by the cost of his treatment.  We want Steve to focus only on getting "back" to us.
