Hello! We are setting up a fundraiser to help Kelly sparks deal with her health issues and get better. To all that know Kelly sparks knows that she was an outgoing vibrant mother of 4 who would help anyone & give the shirt off her back to anyone. She has been Ill for about 2 1/2 years being treated for her symptoms & not diagnosed. She kept getting worse & worse till we went to mayo in Rochester & found out she has at least Graves’ disease. They got her on medicine and has been in a bad storm. She see’s a surgeon next week to remove her thyroid. It’s been a long haul & will continue to be. Until we get her on disability until she is well enough to return to work she is in need of help to survive and concentrate on getting well. UPDATE: Kelly has had her thyroid out. She was doing ok at first but struggled a little with pain & storms. She now has thyroid eye disease which causes severe headaches pain pressure behind the eyes redness dryness etc and has had cdiff again. She has an appt in Iowa city on July 27th. She can’t get into her endocrine doctor till august 30th. She also fractured her foot and tendons is in a cast due to a fall from being weak. She has applied for disability till she is well enough to work again but this can take several months for approval & check. We appreciate the help prayers & shares so far! 7/30/23 update

kelly has seen a local endocrinologist 2 times now on meds & her thyroid levels are coming down. She is suffering pretty bad with the thyroid eye disease & awaiting her appt for infusions. update 10/02/23 Kelly is starting therapy to try to get stronger as she has had a few falls. Her thyroid ranges are still crazy out of whack. Dr thinks her body is rejecting the medicine. She is awaiting infusions for thyroid eye disease. She is struggling with the stress, the emotions & the hormones being crazy off balance. Please keep her in your thoughts & prayers as she battles this phase.
