On February 10th, 2026, my life changed in an instant. I was involved in a terrible crash that left me with a broken tibia plateau on both sides. The injuries were severe, requiring seven surgeries and a month and a half in the hospital. Since then, I have been told my recovery will take at least 12 months, but it may be even longer. I am now considered disabled, and the accident has taken away my ability to work and provide for my 7-year-old son as I always have.

This has been the most difficult time of our lives. I have lost my job and am struggling to pay for rent, utilities, childcare, and mounting medical bills. Every day is a challenge, but I am determined to do everything I can to keep a stable home for my son and continue being the hero he looks up to.
