Hi everyone my name is Ashley Ornelas and I'm fundraising to pay for my best friend's, Flurry, dental procedure. Flurry is a sweet 9 year old domestic shorthair cat with Advanced Periodontitis.

She was born in a bush right outside my parent's house when I was only 16. I was incredibly lucky that my parents allowed me to keep her. Flurry doesn't know it but, she saved my life on numerous occasions. When I had no one to cry to, she was always there for me. Her gentle purrs soothed me. The slight pressure from her laying on my chest grounded me. She has done so much for me and now it's time for me to do the same for her. I want to be a better pet parent for her because she deserves it.

She has a minimum of 9 teeth that need to be extracted due to extreme resportion, which is causing her immense pain. More teeth may need to be extracted depending on how the x-rays look. I do not have the funds to afford the procedure right now and Flurry's condition is worsening by the day. Eating is painful for her, even on a soup diet. She has lost almost 2 lbs already.

She's a strong kitty and I know she can get through this stronger than before but, we can't wait much longer... I'll keep administering her pain medication for now and in the meantime I hope you or whoever else reads this will be able to donate, even if it's a small amount. It counts and will be immensely appreciated. Sharing this around would also help a ton. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
