8th graders put on a Spring Fling event for 6th graders

I am Amanda, a teacher at a middle school. I teach a class for 8th graders to help them build community and support the incoming 6th graders over the year. This is our school's first year with this program, and it has been challenging, but really rewarding for my 8th graders and 6th graders.
This year, my 8th graders have worked so hard. They have mentored in 6th grade classrooms, taught lessons to 6th graders on community and respect, put on a welcoming event for 6th graders for their first day, and also put on an afterschool winter movie and crafts night for the 6th graders. So many 6th graders came and had such a good time. It was such a positive experience for all of the kids.
We also want to put on a Spring Fling event, where 6th graders can eat snacks, listen to music and dance, play games, and do Spring crafts. Unfortunately, it turns out we do not have a budget. My kids were so excited to put on this event, and the 6th graders were really excited to go. I decided we have to find a way to make it work, but I cannot buy all of the supplies for crafts and snacks by myself. This is why I am hoping to be able to raise money to make this event a success.
