As another year of Covid affecting our daily lives is nearly in the rearview, we are largely vaxed, and finally finding more normalcy in many of our lives. Sadly though, there remains no vaccine for those hit by cancer. Too many affected by the ‘c’ are under insured and tragically impacted financially while fighting for their lives.

 

Our paddling community has a long tradition of, as our founder stated, ‘standing in the gap’ as a community, and trying to help those we can. So for the 8th year in a row, 100% of money raised goes to families fighting with cancer. $1000 to each family. In an envelope with zero strings.

 

So please, join us on Friday, December 17 in your best Santa, or Santa adjacent, Christmas attire as we paddle along I90 bridge offering a little good cheer to those commuting into Seattle. Exact start time and location to be provided.
