Save my mom and dads house

These are my mothers words, this was her Facebook status describing the situation: To those of you who know Dave and I , and to anyone who happens to read this my apologies for it been a very long post.
Firstly i would like to say that I know we are more fortunate than some people, at present we have a lovely wheelchair adapted home(mortgaged) a wonderful supportive and caring family and friends. I have #multiplesclerosis and Dave is my #fulltimecarer
However...instead of the government helping us with a small amount of benefit to help pay our mortgage interest they are changing it to a loan (see changes to smi benefit on directgov website) with added interest. IF WE DO NOT ACCEPT THE LOAN THERE IS NO HELP AVAILABLE.
So heres the scenario Dave and i are forced to sell our home apparently due to my disability im classed as a vulnerable adult so council will have to find me suitable housing.
We would then receive £475 a month housing benefit which is MORE THAN DOUBLE than what we receive now plus a grant for help with costs. and it would be to live in a house / area we dont want to live in!
So to all you #taxpayers
#conservativespartymembers
#labourpartymembers my question is does that make any financial sense?
There is going to be a massive strain put on all uk councils to rehome people who cannot or will not accept the loan . People made homeless will be entitled to grants to help them start again.
WE DO NOT WANT TO START AGAIN!! We want to stay in our home ,its more than just bricks and morter to us and its breaking my heart at the thought of been forced to sell. I hope the @[email redacted] @newsmedia.org @bbc.co.uk
look at my post and report on the amount of people who are going to be effected by this change.
If you have read all of this posts my sincere thanks please keep sharing and wish Dave and I luck because we are going to need it.
Now my mom and dad have NEVER asked for any help and they aren't comfortable with this, but it's come to this thanks to our wonderful government! They'll use the money raised to try to help them keep their house, and I'm sure should they come out of this on the right side they'll through one hell of a party! If you can spare a bob or 2 literally every penny counts. Thanks everyone Xx
