Hi, my name is Carrie Deiseroth. This fundraiser is for my beautiful best friend, Janet Powell. She is one of the best people that I know on earth. She has helped countless people without ever asking for anything in return.

In August, Janet was diagnosed with breast cancer and invasive lobular carcinoma that has spread to the lymph nodes, metastatic lobular carcinoma with a small spot on the breast bone. Janet is single and solely financially responsible for all expenses. Chemo is scheduled for October 2, 2025. She will have 18 weeks of chemo, followed by surgery and then radiation treatments.
