My daughter-in-law Amy has had epilepsy since she was a child.  She is a registered nurse but was terminated from her job as a school nurse because her seizures got worse.  When she was terminated, she also lost her health insurance while she was in the middle of going through medical procedures.  She is scheduled for brain surgery to see if they can stop her seizures.
