Help Nidal and Her Family Raise Money to Apply for Work Permits

Hello, my name is Nidal, and my husband, two children and I are seeking asylum in the United States. We have come here, leaving behind our home and family, to escape ongoing war in our home country. The violence and destruction made it impossible to stay, and we feared for our safety every day. We lost our home, our jobs, and everything we had worked so hard to build. With great difficulty, we came to the United States seeking safety and a chance to rebuild our lives.

To be able to support ourselves and contribute to our community, we need work permits for our family. The total cost for all four of us to apply for the proper permits is $2,200 — an amount that is very difficult for us to gather on our own.

We are asking for your support to help us cover this essential step. With your help, we will be able to work, support ourselves, and begin building a stable life here.
