Help us get our babies home! We need $3,000 for vet visits, crates, and airfare for Appa and Bumi.

3 months ago our landlord abruptly ended our 6 year tenancy with barely the legally required amount of notice. We're unable to find housing in California and are effectively homeless, living in airbnbs. Appa and Bumi have been HEROES throughout this, living in their kennels, in restricted spaces, moving to different places every couple of weeks. We're trying to move home to live with family until we can find housing, and we want Appa and Bumi to come with us.

Appa is a brachycephalic dog. Being a short-snoot boi, he can't be put in cargo like longer-snooted bois and exceeds weight requirements to ride in cabin - he'll need special accommodations.

Both pets need to have the rabies test done, which cost $400-$600 each. You all know that just bringing a dog into the vet office is over $100 and Appa alone will require 4 vet visits before he's able to depart.

We're aiming to leave by the end of October - we have to wait until after October 15th to be able to travel with the animals, due to heat warning and airline restrictions. We need to leave as soon as possible, living in airbnbs is extremely expensive, costing us $1,500 more monthly than we were paying in rent - we don't have the funds to stay.

We're not asking for the full amount - the actual cost to bring these kids home with us is much closer to $5,000, we just need a little help.
