Funding for Ili's cancer medical bills
Back in November, I was diagnosed with pancreatitis. They recommended that I follow up with a gastroenterologist, but I didn´t take it very seriously so I waited until around May to schedule that appointment. Long story short, after many CT scans, MRIs, and colonoscopies, I was diagnosed with neuroendocrine carcinoma, a type of pancreatic cancer.
I was told I could save myself from a darker future of the cancer spreading by undergoing a major surgery. The solution was to remove my spleen and half my pancreas. After a successful surgery, I still had to endure other drawbacks, such as internal infections, bouts of pancreatitis, and an incredible amount of pain.
I am 29 years old and I unfortunately do not have much of an income. These out of pocket bills keep piling up and it raises my stress and anxiety. I also deal with a lifelong rare illness called rickets and dealing with both of these physical issues have also severely impacted my already low income.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story. This all happened within a few months and I´ve tried my best to keep my head up about everything, but to be honest, the bills are frightening. Any donation would be truly appreciated.
