Hi, my name is Lauren Rowe, and I’m asking for help for my husband and our family as we walk through a very hard time in our lives. It has taken every ounce of humility for me to muster up the strength to ask for help, but we literally have no other options.

My mother-in-law, Robbie, is currently in her last days of hospice care in Tennessee after a brave fight with pancreatic cancer. She is only 67, and was the best grandmother to her 7 grandchildren. We all love her very much and she will be sorely missed by many.

My husband works two jobs: one that does not offer full-time paid leave and the other where there is no option of PTO. He works five 12 hour shifts a week and tries so hard to support our family, but he's had to take several weeks off of work to be with his mother. The travel expenses and loss of income have made things extremely hard on us and will continue to do so as we go into these next couple of months.

We are simply trying to make sure my husband can spend as much time as possible with his mom in her final days without the pressure of worrying about bills, providing for our family, or missing a mortgage payment.

Any amount, no matter how small, would truly help cover after- life expenses, travel costs, bills, and lost income while he’s away. I realize that SO many people right now are struggling in America, and I am no better or deserving than anyone else. That's why it was so difficult to post this and ask for help. It just saddens me to see the grief and worry on his face, and I'm trying to help take some of that off of him. I know God will provide for all of us in need somehow. If you’re unable to give, I understand. Just please keep our family in your prayers.
