Help Michelle's Family

My sister-in-law Michelle McHugh Nickerson was diagnosed with Stage 4 mouth and neck cancer in December of last year. She began a regimen of chemo and radiation Monday through Friday; my brother took a leave from work to be with her through all her treatments. On Tuesday March 15, 2022, Michelle stopped breathing and was revived by a team of EMTs. She is currently on a ventilator at BMC and fighting for her life.

Anyone who knows Michelle will tell you she always has a smile on her face and would help anyone in need. She loves her family more than anything in the world. She always has a funny story to tell and would have me cracking up when telling me about my brother's antics.

My brother Al, nephew Chris and niece Taylor have spent every moment possible by her side. With them spending their days with Michelle and unable to work, bills will be piling up. Any money raised will go towards expenses so they can continue to be by her side as she fights.
