Please help save our sweet cat, Peanut.

Two days ago, Peanut was taken into the vet after swallowing and coughing back up a beetle. She was then sent home, as she appeared to be fine.

However, the following day, she showed signs of discomfort and distress, stopped eating and drinking, and had to be admitted into an emergency vet care facility.

Upon admission into the emergency facility, the vet identified ulcers on Peanut’s tongue and esophagus. Peanut also has toxicity building up in her liver due to dehydration, she is excessively drooling, she is in pain, and her face is starting to swell.

The vets are at a loss as to why her health is rapidly declining, and are now wanting to get her moved to a specialist care clinic ASAP. Peanut needs more exploratory medical procedures to figure out what’s going on.

Peanut is a very special cat to us. We love her so much. We are asking for help in covering her vet bills, as we cannot cover them ourselves. Peanut is only 8 years old with so much life to live.
