Dear friends and family,

I am reaching out to share that I am creating a GoFundMe campaign to help cover my daughter's medical expenses following her upcoming kidney transplant. After living with type 1 diabetes for 23 years, she is now facing end-stage renal failure. Her transplant surgery is scheduled for June 17th, and I’m grateful that her younger sister will be donating her kidney.

While we are hopeful for this surgery, we know there is a long road ahead. My daughter will also need a pancreas transplant in the future to help eliminate her diabetes.

Currently, none of her immunosuppressant medications are covered by insurance, and these medications can be quite costly. We would greatly appreciate any monetary donations you can provide to help us with these expenses.
