This is the story of our shelter guest, Scruffy, who was abandoned outside the shelter and spent quite a lot of time outside before live trapped and brought inside. He was loaded with fleas, filthy dirty and his ears were crunched on their tips having infection. He is friendly which indicates he had an owner at one time.

Now that he's safe inside he is doing well. He has made friends with all the other shelter guests. Of course the fleas are

gone and he's picked up much needed weight. He's now neutered. I still have to treat those crunched ears with medicine for periodic yeast infections.

The veterinarian says Scruffy needs to have his cracked front tooth removed

and teeth cleaned as his mouth is in a bad place now.

I have absolutely no money to help Scruffy since I just got blasted with a bill for Tipper's cancer treatment and euthanasia.

Any donation for Scruffy for his dental needs is so greatly appreciated! The cost estimate is $1200.00. It would be a blessing. All donations are tax exempt.

The problem is I have absolutely zero money left after costs for Tipper, my cancer kitty, who had to be euthanized yesterday. I know without the veterinary dental care Scruffy will not do well.
