I am a 16 year old student at Indian Creek Upper School in Crownsville.  I was looking through the Annapolis Patch on my phone last night and this article caught my attention.  A man had entered a store in Annapolis, Maryland and STOLE a donation box of Cash that was meant to support homeless animals housed at Anne Arundel County Animal Control.  Reading this story broke my heart and was just another reminder to me of how many cruel and unselfish people are in this world.  I thought about it all night and then thought about what my Mom and Dad always tell me...there are more GOOD PEOPLE in this world than there are bad.

I called several local stores to see if I could set up a booth to collect donations to replace the money that was stolen.  All three stores told me that because I was not "a business" or a "sports team," I was unable to collect cash gifts for this cause.  This is my first time creating a Go Fund Me page but I am hoping that anyone reading this might be willing to make a donation, large or small, that can help with the loss of funds that were meant to go to these defenseless homeless animals.

If you are as outraged as I am to hear that someone in our community would stoop so low to steal from an organization that takes care of thousands of homeless animals and whose source of income is based primarily from donations from the GOOD PEOPLE in this world, please make whatever donation you can to help me right this wrong.  I am attaching a link to the article below and I thank each and every one of you for reading my page and considering making a donation of whatever you can afford.

Thank you again,
