Haflinger Rescue-Avery and Jackson

Donation protected
UPDATE: I am BLOWN AWAY at all the donations and generous people. Thank you all so much from the bottom of our heart.

It is posing difficult to get these babies from Billings, MT to Eatonville, WA for a decent price and to find a reputable hauler. (We’ve already been scammed twice) Because of the price quotes we have raised our goal. We are also discussing possibly a quarantine facility for them to go to before coming here, as a few horses out of Texas have shown up with strangles! This is our first rescue and we want to do it right!! All donations will go straight to these babies. Thank you all so much.

Call me crazy……
I have never done anything like this before, but these two have tugged at my heart strings for a week now and I figured I’d try my best to save them. These two babies are located in a kill pen in Kemp, TX. Right now they are trader owned, but have been sitting in the pen with no interest for too long. The problem is they have been together since birth and have to stay together because they are bonded, and it seems no one wants to take on two little babies! They were dropped off at the pen with a note saying that the owner wanted to cart train them but ended up having no time. Jackson the one with the blue halter has an injury on his front knee that was mentioned as well.
My goal would be to pull them from the pen and give them a soft landing at Rainier View Farm, to eventually become part of the lesson program, or find a home to call their own! Avery seems to have a kind eye and nice confirmation. Jackson looks to have a sinus or respiratory infection and a cut leg that will need care, but videos show he is moving sound on it as of now. Based on their videos these two seem very soft and level headed; mostly they just need a chance in life with a good home and good people. With summer coming we will be able to give them the time and care needed.

The 3,200 is enough to get them out of the pen and shipped up to Billings Montana where they will quarantine for two weeks. After the two week period they will either be shipped over or I will go get them! If we don’t meet the 3,200 goal and if I can’t provide the rest of the funds myself, then I will send all donations back to each individual and make my own donation and contribution toward their bail in hopes someone else would give them a home! If a miracle happens and we go over my donation goal, I will use the extra money for vet care and castration!!

Every little bit counts and every share I can get would be amazing! Help me get these babies home!

Get Avery and Jackson their freedom ride!
