Explosion Recovery

Greetings family and friends,
First of all we want to thank each and every one of you for your support and concerns for Vicente. The support has been heartwarming, and we are still being reached out too in asking how you can help.
As you might or might not know, we regret to inform you that Vicente’s life took an unexpected turn in an accident that occurred on Friday June the 5th.
Vicente was working on a boat when all of a sudden it exploded causing Vicente to burn his body and up to some 2nd degree burns. Vicente was fortunate enough to react swiftly and jump into the water. Vicente was then hauled to the hospital and raced the same day to San Antonio Brooks Medical Center burn unit. We have been praying intensely for him and God has been faithful to have favor over his life first and foremost. Vicente is now recovering from a skin graft procedure that was done for the 2nd degree burns caused by the fire. We are pleased to inform that the procedure went well, although he still suffers from pain. Please respect us not posting any pictures as they are graphic and we are choosing not to share. We are sharing this information so that we can help support the Madrigal family with funds, as it is a financial burden for the family losing income and all the medical expenses that will be coming in. We don’t know what those expenses are yet, we believe that with your support, it will help ease some financial burdens on the family. From the bottom of our hearts we want to extend our deepest gratitude to those who have called, donated, and prayed for Vicente. There is still a long road to recovery, we thank you in advance for all your loving support, and we want to ask that your prayers continue for him for a speedy recovery.

En primer lugar, queremos agradecer a todos y cada uno de ustedes por su apoyo y preocupación por Vicente. El apoyo ha sido conmovedor, y gracias a los que todavía nos están contactando para preguntarnos cómo pueden ayudar.
Como pueden saber, lamentamos informarles que la vida de Vicente dio un giro inesperado en un accidente ocurrido el viernes 5 de junio.
Vicente estaba trabajando en una lancha cuando de repente explotó causando que Vicente quemara su cuerpo causandole quemaduras de segundo grado. Vicente tuvo la suerte de reaccionar rápidamente y saltar al agua. Vicente fue llevado al hospital y fue transferido el mismo día a la unidad de quemados en el hospital Brooks Medical Center en San Antonio . Hemos estado orando intensamente por él y Dios ha sido fiel para tener favor sobre su vida en primer lugar. Vicente ahora se está recuperando de un procedimiento de injerto de piel que se realizó para las quemaduras de segundo grado causadas por el incendio. Nos complace informar que el procedimiento salió bien, aunque todavía sufre de dolor. Respeten que no publiquemos ninguna foto, ya que son gráficas y estamos eligiendo no compartirlas. Estamos compartiendo esta información para poder ayudar a mantener a la familia Madrigal con fondos, ya que es una carga financiera para la familia que pierde ingresos y para cubrir todos los gastos médicos que vendrán. Todavía no sabemos cuál es la cantidad de esos gastos, Creemos que con su apoyo, ayudará a aliviar algunas cargas financieras en la familia. Desde el fondo de nuestros corazones queremos extender nuestra más profunda gratitud a aquellos que han llamado, donado y rezado por Vicente. Todavía hay un largo camino hacia la recuperación, le agradecemos de antemano por todo su amoroso apoyo, y queremos pedirle que continúen sus oraciones por él para una pronta recuperación.
