Medical Expenses and Help for Kirk

Two weeks ago my brother, Kirk, was diagnosed with strep throat and then with pneumonia. He since has not recovered and as of last night he took a turn and was rushed by ambulance to the hospital with severe chest pain and unable to breathe. The fear and helplessness is beyond words. He was immediately admitted and diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia, infecting majority of his right lung, effusion and sepsis. Today, he was moved into ICU after declining and on the way his right lung entirely collapsed and doctors made several unsuccessful attempts to get chest tubes in him. They had to do emergency surgery and are discussing ventilation if he does not improve soon. He has had half a dozen failed antibiotics and is in tremendous pain. The doctors are working furiously to help him but he is unable to rest or catch a breath. Kirk is NEVER one to complain and will always go out of his way to help someone. He is an extremely hard worker no matter what he may be going through. Unfortunately, he has used all of his sick time and leave from work from being sick before and now he has very quickly acquired large medical costs and he is no where near improvement. We are looking for any way to help him so that hopefully he can just focus on healing and resting. We want to make sure that he isn't worried about anything other than getting better. In the meantime, his girlfriend, mother, sister, family and friends are by his side and praying hard. He is fighting the best he can.
