Helping the Edwards Family
Donation protected
Hello Green Family,
One of our own is in a time of need and could use our help. Jacky Edwards’ husband, Border Patrol Agent Chianti Edwards (a Laredo West Agent and Union Steward), fell ill while on their family trip to Louisiana. They stopped at an ER in Houston as he was not feeling well. Ultimately, Agent Edwards was diagnosed with pneumonia and a heart condition, which also led to fluid in his lungs and heart. Since the diagnosis, Agent Edwards has gone through a couple procedures and one major surgery and was in ICU for a few days; all the while his wife and elderly parents by his side. Their 4 year old son who has never been away for more than a couple of days has been with his aunt for two weeks. What was initially supposed to be 5 days off from work has now turned into two weeks of a hospital stay and is ongoing.
God is good, Agent Edwards has pulled through the scarier portion but is still hospitalized. He is out of ICU and waiting on another possible procedure or being released. As per doctors, he has a lengthy recovery ahead. I thought we could chip in to help with the soon to be arriving hospital bills and general living costs. Jacky, herself, has been on leave without pay and Agent Edwards will be on sick leave. Any donations would be greatly appreciated to help this Green family make it through this tough time.
Many thanks!
