Hi, my name is Breanna and I am reaching out on behalf of my sister and her family. Due to a genetic family condition Brittney was diagnosed with kidney failure 3 years ago. She has been doing home peritoneal dialysis (PD) for almost three years which has worked well until now. 8 months ago Brittney and her partner Javier welcomed precious baby Amalia into the world. Just over a month ago Brittney was hopspitalized with heart failure and kidney failure. After a heart surgery and two week stay at the hospital she was released to go home. She is recovering but is now having to travel to Chico (2 hours there, 2 hours back) for treatment three times a week. She is unable to continue to work due to her health and caring for her sweet baby girl. Due to her weekly treatments in Chico, she and Javier have decided to move to Chico for the betterment of her health. Due to all of the costs associated with moving and the travel costs of going to Chico 3 times a week, I am setting up this fundraiser to help her and her family in this time of need.
