Support Emmanuel's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Margaret Neuburger and I am raising funds for my friend who is family, Emmanuel Nnuekwe. On June 5, 2024, around 5am, Emmanuel was involved in a head-on collision with a semi-truck just outside of Topeka, KS. He was transferred via helicopter to the University of Kansas hospital to be treated for his critical injuries. By the grace of God, miraculously, Emmanuel survived but has a long road of recovery in front of him. He shattered his left femur, his left eye socket is broken, he has a few fractured ribs, broke his right hand, broke his right ankle, has minor lacerations to spleen and liver, plus his muscles are releasing toxins into his body from the trauma which could cause kidney failure and could lead to potential need for a kidney transplant.
Emmanuel just graduated with his Masters in Computer Technology from EIU and had been actively applying for jobs before his accident so he has no income as well as no insurance. We are trying to raise money to alleviate the financial strain this may cause for him and his family so that he may focus on his recovery. Any amount is appreciated as well as all the prayers for a full recovery for him.
Funds will be used to cover medical bills, ambulance/helicopter costs, rehabilitation costs and any unexpected expenditures associated with the accident.
This is the only fundraiser setup for Emmanuel at the request of his family!
